Stephen Kinnock MP celebrates the work of Neath Port Talbot Citizens Advice as the charity reveals the top problems in Aberavon.
Stephen Kinnock MP has said Neath Port Talbot Citizens Advice is a vital front line service that supports people to overcome the challenges they face.
Last year Citizens Advice helped people in Aberavon with 4,194 problems. The top five most common problems were:
- Benefits/tax credits
- Consumer issues
New evidence shows 78% of Citizens Advice clients said they wouldn’t have been able to solve their problem without the help they received from their local service.
Stephen Kinnock MP said:
“Neath Port Talbot Citizens Advice is a vital front line service that supports people to overcome the challenges they face. As your local Member of Parliament I am acutely aware of how issues such as employment, benefit and housing affect the area. I intend to work closely with Neath Port Talbot Citizens Advice to tackle these problems head on.”
