It was great to go and see the Banksy in Taibach. It's fantastic that Port Talbot is the first town in Wales to have a Banksy! It’s a brilliant and striking work of street art. Port Talbot has always been a hub of creative talent, and it’s great to see that we’re continuing that proud tradition. It’s even better up close - a truly brilliant piece of street art. Absolutely superb, and the talk of the town!
It was great to meet the team at Port Talbot Fire and Rescue Station. These guys provide a vital service to our community. Their courage, dedication and professionalism are second to none.
I was delighted to attend Afan Spartans Boxing and witness the youngsters being put through their paces. Afan Spartans is based in the Taibach Community Education Centre and have a brilliant team doing excellent work with the young people in our Community.
There was a real buzz at my third annual Funding Fair held in Taibach Community Education Centre on Friday. Fourteen funding agencies were there giving advice to the over 150 people who attended. Many great project ideas and loads of networking!Read more
Aberavon MP, Stephen Kinnock, is due to hold his annual funding fair in Taibach Community Education Centre at the end of the month. Now in its third year the event has grown to include 13 different advice providers and Mr Kinnock is encouraging local groups and organisations looking for funding to come along.Read more
