Aberavon MP, Stephen Kinnock, is due to hold his annual funding fair in Taibach Community Education Centre at the end of the month. Now in its third year the event has grown to include 13 different advice providers and Mr Kinnock is encouraging local groups and organisations looking for funding to come along.

Mr Kinnock said, ‘The funding fair has grown year on year. At last year’s fair we had ten advice providers and over two hundred people, representing eighty-four different groups and organisations, attend.

‘This year we have new advice providers like the Waterloo Foundation, Prince’s Trust Cymru and NPT Physical Activity and Sports Service. Together with our regular advice providers like the Big Lottery, Heritage Lottery, Sport Wales, Arts Council of Wales, Coalfields Regeneration Trust, the CVS, Tata Steel, Pen Y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund CIC, Regenerate NPT and Neath Port Talbot Council, this offers local groups and organisations a unique opportunity to speak with lots of different funders, and to network with other groups in the area.

‘So if any local group or organisation is looking for funding they should pop along and speak to the funders directly.’

The Funding Fair is on Friday 26 January, between 10am and 1pm, in Taibach Community Education Centre on Margam Road. For more information visit http://www.stephenkinnock.co.uk/aberavon_constituency_funding_fair_2018_jan
