It was great to attend the Cymer Afan Community Library Annual General Meeting. Since being taken over and run by the community in 2014, the library has gone from strength to strength, developing facilities and adding services. With increased usage their opening hours have also increased.

The Library is a hub for the community not only providing access to books, cds and dvds, but also showing films and holding summer and Christmas fetes. It is a real community facility and I’m proud to use it for my surgeries in the Upper Afan Valley. Well done to all those who work tirelessly to run the library.
