I was delighted to attend a meeting of the Rhondda Tunnel Society to hear about the progress they have made over the last 12 months. There were some spectacular photos on show, taken inside the tunnel just last month. The society has also put together a new promotional video showcasing the community benefits re-opening the tunnel would bring.

I am greatly looking forward to discussing the project with representatives of the Heritage Lottery Fund, when they attend my funding fair on Friday 26 January.
