Together with my fellow Welsh Labour MPs Carolyn Harris MP, Tonia Antoniazzi MP, Geraint Davies MP, Christina Rees MP and Nia Griffith MP, I have co-signed the letter below to the DVLA to keep up pressure on improving working conditions during the pandemic.

Last week I joined hard working members of staff at the agency on the picket line in Swansea in the second week of strike action in as many months.

Industrial action is always a last resort and I am encouraged to hear further action has been halted as talks are now underway with management at the agency to secure a safe working environment for the thousands of people, including many from our Aberavon constituency, who work there.
