I am teaming up with technology giant Google to give local businesses the tools they need to stand out in an increasingly competitive online market.

We joined forces with Google to bring the first ever Google Digital Garage event to Port Talbot in November 2016.

The event was designed to provide free digital skills training to individuals and businesses.

Now, four years later, the Digital Garage is returning to Aberavon for a virtual version of its popular training session with a focus on Digital Marketing.

I will be hosting a virtual round table at the event which starts at 10am on Friday October 23 to give those attending a chance to outline the current challenges they are facing.

There will also be a session from Google on Digital Marketing Strategy, held specifically for small businesses and individuals.

I am delighted to welcome Google back to Aberavon for the latest Digital Garage event.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic which is affecting all our lives, more and more business is being carried out online.
