I was very pleased to hold an online discussion with Councillor Saifur Rahaman and members of the Muslim community in Aberavon.

It was a great opportunity for us to get together and talk about an array of international issues that I have been working on as part of work as Shadow Minister for Asia and the Pacific, including standing up for the Rohingya and Uyghur people.

We also talked at length about people’s experience of racism, and the need for better cultural and historical education in schools to ensure we all understand more about our diverse nation.
