Today I’ve been in Skewen talking with The Coal Authority and Cllr Mike Harvey on the works that are underway in order to make the area safe and to allow for residents to return home.

On Monday I’ll be pressing the Secretary of State for Wales to ensure the UK Government offer the immediate and long term financial support to all who have been affected.

On 4th February the Coal Authority will be holding an online public event for Skewen residents.
