For Small Business Saturday I am highlighting local business in Aberafan Maesteg, one of those businesses is Selections Coffee Shop! Selections offers a range of lovely food and coffee with really warm service. It’s a family run treasure!

The next business I want to spotlight for Small Business Saturday is Porthcawl Gin. Based in Ton Kenfig, they have gone from strength to strength.

Each step of their distilling process is undertaken by them on premises, from handpicking their own ingredients to labelling each bottle by hand.

It’s fantastic to see this local business thriving and they make regular donations to the Sandville Self Help Foundation as well.

I fully recommend picking up a bottle of their delicious gin or booking in for one of their gin making experiences (a perfect Christmas gift!)

The final business I want to highlight this Small Business Saturday is Café 21 which is a real gem in Maesteg. They have lovely cooked breakfasts and a range of the most amazing stuffed croissants, as well as lots of other tasty food and great coffee!
