Special Families Maesteg provide support to families and children with additional needs and learning disabilities and are based at Unique Fitness Gym in Maesteg.

They offer a range of family groups including a mother and child group on a Friday, a therapeutic sensory room and via working with other community groups, they also work with people with dementia and mental health conditions.

They offer a truly fantastic range of services, including a free school uniform shop where families in need can pick up Maesteg school uniforms for their children for free; a charity shop onsite which sells quality toys and other goods for low prices and they even help to provide household goods to those in need by working with social services.

We are really lucky to have them in the  Aberafan Maesteg constituency and I am looking forward to seeing them grow even more.
