Hard working DVLA staff, including many from our Aberavon constituency, have staged the final day of a week of industrial action after being told to go into work by their employer during the pandemic.

PCS Union officials told me some members of staff have been afraid to take the COVID vaccine in case they get penalised for taking time off if they have a reaction to the vaccination.

This is not the behaviour of a responsible employer.

People come to work here because they want to serve the public, taking strike action is always a last resort and I stand in solidarity with them.
