Thousands of EU citizens currently living in Britain are facing the prospect of proving their right to remain in this country after the UK Government instructed them to achieve EU Settled Status by tomorrow (June 30).

Fortunately for people like Andres Garcia who came to Wales from Spain in 1991 my office has been able to help.

But, for countless others, the anxiety of potentially being classed as unlawful in the next 48 hours is very real.

The Labour Party is calling on the Government to extend the deadline to achieve Settled Status, let’s hope they listen.
