Today we launched our Justice for Skewen campaign in the heart of the village where lives were turned upside down by a devastating man-made flood.

We are calling on the Coal Authority and the UK Government to accept liability for the awful damage done by this incident, cover all uninsured losses and any gaps not covered by insurance.

I want to thank every resident who joined us this morning despite the terrible weather and had their voice heard.

This is only the beginning of our campaign and we will continue until we achieve justice for the people of Skewen.
