I was very pleased to attend Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group’s event recently to mark the launch of their new project, Neath Port Talbot Wellbeing After Stroke Project – NPT WASP in partnership with Neath Port Talbot Mind.
NPT WASP is 3 year project delivering a mental health and wellbeing service to local stroke survivors their loved ones and carers. The service will provide a pathfinder to offer signposting and support, provide one to one counselling, one to one active monitoring, wellbeing sessions & psycho-educational group courses.
Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group is a friendly group of stroke survivors, their loved ones and carers who help support one another in building a fulfilling life after stroke, and they meet every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm at Briton Ferry Town Council Community Hall, SA11 2NS.
The project welcomes self-referrals, as well as referrals from professionals.
