I was very proud to be in the audience to hear Helle Thorning-Schmidt’s powerful and moving speech at the 75th anniversary of the Port Talbot Soroptimists. She spoke with passion and conviction about equality and empowerment for women and girls, drawing on her own experience as a woman in politics.
