Today I visited Tywyn Primary School in Sandfields East with the local ward councillors Sean Pursey and Ted Latham – who is Chair of Governors of the school.
I was very impressed with the hard-working, dedicated teaching staff who are working tirelessly for the benefit of the young people in the area.
It was great to see the facilities available at the school to provide for children with learning disabilities and the excellent progress pupils make at the school which has over 400 pupils on roll.
Many thanks to the Head Hayley Burrows, Deputy Head Rhiannon Williams and Chair of Governors, Ted Latham for showing me around. I look forward to visiting again in future.
