I was in Washington DC last week, as part of a cross-party delegation organised by the The Coalition for Global Prosperity.

We met members of Congress (House and Senate), think-tanks, World Bank, USAID, the State Department and we also went to the White House to meet with representatives of the National Security Council.

Discussions covered a range of key issues, from Ukraine to China to trade and development. The US is a vitally important partner and ally, and it is vital that we build and strengthen the special relationship.
