It was great to go and see the newly opened Whitehead-Ross Training Hub at the NSA Afan building here in Port Talbot.

Whitehead-Ross is an education and social welfare organisation. Founded in 2012, they deliver a variety of high-quality skills-related programmes and social services provision.

Their wide range of programmes include support for unemployed individuals to retrain and secure jobs, vocational training programmes, adult education and social services provision. They have excellent courses on numeracy and construction, which they offer as part of their Multiply programme. They also offer ICT courses, CV signposting and advice, interview preparation, digital skills and a whole host of other things!

They deliver courses out in the community as well, recently running an online safety course to keep older generations safe from online scams.

They really do offer a wide range of services, and I am really pleased that they have opened their new hub in the heart of the community in Sandfields.
