Eligible schools visiting from Aberafan Maesteg, who book a tour and workshop through the Education Service, could claim up to 60% or up to £1,200 of receipted travel costs through Parliament’s travel subsidy.

For more information about booking a free school visit and the travel subsidy visit https://learning.parliament.uk/en/session-workshop/tours-and-workshops/

There is high demand and tours often book up quickly, so if any school interested should book as soon as bookings open.

Bus Trips

During the year I arrange a bus trip to London, including a guided tour of Parliament and time for shopping, food or sight seeing. the bus leaves Aberafan Maesteg early and drops you off outside Parliament. For those interested in a tour of Parliament, the tour will be after you are dropped off and you’ll have free time afterwards. Those who don’t want to join the tour are free to explore London.

The bus leaves from Parliament in the early evening and returns to Aberafan Maesteg.

Keep an eye on my social media for the next trip.
